Dr. Fuqua will also evaluate your bite alignment and assess your temporomandibular joint (TMJ) function. If you grind your teeth, she may recommend a custom-fitted nightguard to prevent jaw clenching and reduce erosion of tooth enamel. To help alleviate snoring, there are also a number of non-surgical therapies that can help restore healthy function and provide a more peaceful slumber.
